Ardelle has been with Talent Point for a little over a year. In that time we've experienced significant unpredictable change brought on by COVID-19 and revamped much of our internal processes.
Throughout this time, they have remained endlessly positive and always inquisitive, performing an essential role in operations which has positively impacted every member of our team.
We couldn't be happier to recognise their excellent work and sat down with them to find out more...
Brilliant work Ardelle, thank you. How does it feel to be TP'er of the month?
It certainly came as a surprise but overall I feel extremely happy with being recognised this month :)
Tell us a bit more about you and your role at Talent Point.
In my personal life I'm a profressional binge-watcher on Netflix, am obsessed with shopping and if anything involves food, I'm there!
My role at Talent Point is operations executive, making sure all operational systems and processes are defined, documented and effectively implemented across the business. I also manage all business facilities and provide IT support where needed, as well as other adhoc support for my colleagues.
What have you been working on recently?
I've spent a lot of time revamping our operational systems and processes. That includes standardising our operational folders, documenting operational and IT processses, and making sure this is all working correctly so everyone in the team can focus on adding value for our customers.
Most recently, I've been analysing some of the tools we use for job promotion to indentify which are performing best so we can make better decisions about where to invest moving forward.
What do you like about working at Talent Point?
We are like a close knit family... everyone supports each other. I love this unity at Talent Point event though we're working remotely. Another great element of our culture is that once you are able to prove yourself and work hard you are very much recognised for this.
What are you most excited about for the future?
Expanding the team gradually and able to develop my skills (potentially be able to get promoted). Gaining and receiving higher qualifications in operations management and being able to do courses which allow me to grow in my profession. Also I’m looking forward to seeing the exciting things Talent Point have in store for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion.
