We’ve scaled the First Public Transportation Unicorn!

 

We’re proud to be partnering with and scaling Optibus, the world’s First Transit Unicorn!

Who are Optibus? Optibus were founded in 2004 and provide an end-to-end cloud-native AI platform software platform for public transportation planning and operations, in over 1000 cities globally and counting. They play a fundamental role in bringing people together while having a positive global impact by lowering CO2 emissions. As a result, Optibus have closed Series D funding and raised $100 million bringing their valuation up to $1.3 billion.

This funding series accompanies the launch of Ridership Insights, which helps planners redesign transportation systems to increase ridership and ‘build back better’.

Our Partnership. Talent Point are delighted to be partnering with Optibus’ to enable this brilliant scale-up journey. Optibus’ vision and mission are clear. They were looking to scale their team with amazing talent and transform the future of mass transit!

What impact have we had? The challenge was clear! The top talent we have hired into in their company had to share the desire professional and personal growth, work/ life balance while adding to Optibus’ diverse and inclusive culture and everything else Optibus wants to achieve.

Through our partnership with Optibus, we have worked on several projects including:

  • Showcasing Optibus’ employer brand and the crucial work they are doing to power complex transit operations in cities around the world in over 1000 cities globally
  • Streamlining and enhancing their end-to-end interview processes making them apt for specific roles Optibus required whilst being able to have the best out of candidates go through the process as soon as possible
  • Engaging and working with key stakeholders to ensure that the hiring community were involved in the hiring process and on board with the great talent chosen to join the team
  • Providing a great experience for candidates! This meant that candidates were aware of Optibus and what was on offer. Candidates were also encouraged to make the most of the process, so they were placed in the best possible position to succeed.

Talent Point have been instrumental in scaling Optibus to over 330 people and ultimately saving approx. £320k on agency spend.
